Morissette Garden, Saint-Rémi
The main challenge offered by this project was proper management of proportions. Indeed, this opulent residence is located on a relatively small yard. The constricted front space would have to be treated in a way to generate a comfortable and aesthetic transition between the street and the access door of the residence. A formal styled garden was therefore designed to meet this mandate. The use of structural plants would facilitate the achievement of this goal by providing an interesting gradation of levels. In addition, flowerbeds provide a combination of colors that match the materials used in the outer coating of the residence.
