The front yard of this townhouse located in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough of Montreal absolutely had to be refreshed. While wishing to preserve a classic look inspired by the area where this residence is located, the garden needed to be original. The choice of Saint-Marc natural stone in the design of the porch, steps, sidewalk and retaining wall certainly contributes to the conventional aspect of this garden. However, the polished finish of the stone gives it a contemporary twist. Finally, plants with contrasting colors and textures would complete the picture.
